Terms of Service
Plain English. Last updated July 22, 2026.
1. What this service does
Spam Email Analyzer connects to your email inbox in read-only mode, screens your incoming marketing email for potential violations of the California Business & Professions Code §17529.5 and the California Invasion of Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code §638.51), and surfaces the strongest potential claims to a licensed attorney at Manning Law, APC for review. Using the tool is free for California residents.
2. No legal advice, no attorney–client relationship
Using Spam Email Analyzer does not create an attorney–client relationship between you and Manning Law, APC, and nothing the tool produces is legal advice. The automated screening is informational only. An attorney–client relationship is formed only if and when Manning Law, APC and you both sign a written engagement agreement. Manning Law is under no obligation to pursue, and does not guarantee it will pursue, any claim identified by the tool.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, a California resident, and the owner of (or authorized to grant access to) the inbox you connect. You agree that the information you provide at sign-up, including your attestation of California residency, is accurate.
4. Read-only access you control
We request the narrowest possible permission — read-only. We can never send, delete, modify, or move your email. You may revoke access at any time from your Google or Microsoft account settings, or by using "Disconnect inbox and delete all my data" on the Settings page. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
5. No guarantee of outcome
Screening results are automated estimates and may be wrong. Being flagged does not mean you have a valid legal claim; not being flagged does not mean you do not. Manning Law makes no representation about the value, viability, or outcome of any claim.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no connecting inboxes you do not own, no attempting to probe, scan, or disrupt the service, and no using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access we reasonably believe is being misused.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manning Law, APC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
